About the Journal
JIGAWA JOURNAL OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND EARTH SCIENCES (JIJEES)
JIJEES is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by the Department of
Environmental Sciences, Federal University Dutse (FUD), Nigeria. The journal is issued
twice annually, with publications appearing in May and September.
The journal was established to provide a reputable platform for the dissemination of
research findings on a broad spectrum of contemporary issues in environmental and
earth sciences. It seeks to foster intellectual exchange among scholars within and across
related disciplines while promoting innovative, multidisciplinary approaches to
addressing environmental and societal challenges.
JIJEES welcomes and publishes original research articles, review papers, short
communications (synopses), and theoretical contributions in fields including geology,
geography, urban and regional planning, environmental sciences, pure and applied
sciences, as well as other closely related disciplines.
